Review Removal Service

Professional Review Removal Services

Reputation Medics is a full-service review removal service for businesses that need to challenge harmful online reviews. Our team of review removal experts analyzes each review, identifies potential policy violations, collects supporting evidence, and manages the dispute process with the platform. We work across Google Business Profile, Yelp, Facebook, TripAdvisor, Airbnb, Turo, and other major review sites.

What review removal actually is

Every major review platform — Google, Yelp, Facebook, TripAdvisor, Trustpilot, Glassdoor, Airbnb, and Turo among them — publishes a content policy that defines what is and is not allowed. Reviews that violate those policies can be reported, and the platform may remove them after review. Removability depends on the specific policy category involved, the evidence you provide, and how the platform's moderation team applies the rule. No platform lets a business unilaterally delete customer reviews, and any service that claims otherwise is misrepresenting how these systems work.

A professional review removal service does three things. First, it reads each review against the platform's specific policy language and identifies which — if any — rules the post violates. Second, it collects documented, evidence-backed proof of the violation, whether that is a CRM record showing the reviewer was never a customer, screenshots of a coordinated attack, or a citation to another public source disproving the claim. Third, it submits the case through the correct channel and escalates when the initial report is denied.

Review removal eligibility criteria

May qualify for removal
  • Reviews from people who were never customers
  • Conflicts of interest (competitors, former employees, opposing parties)
  • Off-topic content unrelated to the business's product or service
  • Harassment, hate speech, threats, or discriminatory language
  • Prohibited content — explicit material, private information, illegal content
  • Impersonation or fake identity
  • Coordinated spam or duplicate posts across multiple profiles
Generally does NOT qualify
  • Honest negative opinions from real, verifiable customers
  • Factually accurate criticism, even if unflattering
  • Genuine star ratings from real customers that follow platform policy
  • Reviews the business simply disagrees with
  • Complaints about price, service speed, or product design

Eligibility depends on platform policies, evidence, authenticity, conflicts of interest, prohibited content, and other applicable violations. This list is illustrative — every review is analyzed individually.

How our process works

  1. 1
    Free reputation scan

We use REPUSCAN to pull your current review inventory across major platforms so we can prioritize the reviews with the highest business impact.

  2. 2
    Policy analysis

Every candidate review is compared against the specific platform's content policy. We identify the exact policy category and cite the relevant clause.

  3. 3
    Evidence collection

We gather CRM records, invoices, screenshots, timestamps, and third-party sources — whatever documentation the platform's moderators expect for that policy category.

  4. 4
    Case preparation and submission

We prepare a policy-compliant removal request, submit it through the correct channel, and log every touchpoint.

  5. 5
    Escalation and appeal

First-pass denials are common. We appeal with additional evidence, escalate to Small Business Support and equivalent programs on other platforms, and iterate until the case is resolved.

  6. 6
    Monitoring

After a review comes down, we monitor for reposts and for coordinated follow-up attacks — a common pattern after a successful removal.

Review removal questions, answered

What is a review removal service?

A review removal service analyzes a public review, identifies whether it violates the platform's content policies, gathers supporting evidence, and manages the reporting and escalation process with the platform on your behalf. The service does not delete reviews directly — every platform decides whether to remove.

Can any negative review be removed?

No. Removal depends on platform policies, evidence, authenticity, conflicts of interest, prohibited content, and other applicable violations. Honest opinions from real customers generally cannot be removed by any legitimate review removal company.

How long does professional review removal take?

Most Google removals: 7–21 days. Yelp and other platforms: typically 60–90 days. The platform decides the timing. Complex cases use a Custom Care Plan with their own timeline.

Is review removal legal?

Yes — asking a platform to enforce its own content policies is a legitimate business activity. What is not legal or ethical is impersonating reviewers, buying fake positive reviews, or coercing customers into changing their reviews. We do none of that.

How much does review removal cost?

Pricing varies by platform and case complexity. Upfront pricing is $397 for Google, $697 for Yelp, and $497 for other sites or harmful links. Pay upon removal costs $50 more per item. Upfront fees are refunded after our review if a Google review is not removed within 30 days of payment, or a Yelp review or other-platform item is not removed within 90 days.
